Well here we are again. I would like to introduce you to the brand new MLPTF2Mods.com.

There is a lot to be said and I am sure there are a lot of questions. Though really, the best method is to just explore. The website has been built from the ground up by our amazing system admin. Many great opportunities open up when you aren’t limited by the bounds of free web hosting services. You will find navigations is better streamlined, mod pages convey information more clearly, you can like, favourite, and comment on mods with our new user account system, and content creators can now see such related information about their mods including the download counts from their contributor panel.

We are also taking a step forward in helping aid communication amongst the community with the introduction of the MLPTF2Mods forums. Before people were largely spread out with no central place to convene, get help, or simply watch mods be created. I’d argue that doesn’t have to be a bad thing. But at the end of the day, it is simply easier to have one place you know you can go for like minded folk looking to create and use pony mods. So here is to hoping the forums can get some use out of them. Even if just a method of automatically submitting mods to the site.

So we got a new site, and we got new forums. But why? Well honestly, I like doing this. For all the times I’ve tried to quit, it keeps pulling me back in. I like organizing things. I like ponies. I like seeing people reach for higher potential and helping them facilitate that in what little way I can. I can’t speak for what exactly drives our brilliant sysadmin or our resident mod creator extraordinaire. But the three of us certainly like making great things. Not just good. Not just passable. Great things. So we build what we hope you would agree is a great site that can continue to get even better.

Though while that can answer our part of the equation, this site would be nothing without the content creators. It is their content which you come for. We just help make sure you can find them working at their best. So while the site may be getting a second lease on life, it will be all for not if there isn’t any more content being created. Whether you were thinking about picking up the digital canvas again or looking to try your luck with modding for the first time, now would be a fantastic time to start. It would seem there is still a large number of people who desire My Little Pony in their Team Fortress 2.
